Hard reset method works differently. In this method, you need to turn off the phone first and then boot it in special “Recovery Mode”. To boot the phone into Recovery Mode, press and hold “Power button” and “Volume Down” button.

Keep pressing both button until “LG logo” appear, release those buttons just in a blink of eye before pressing them back on. Keep pressing until it finished booting into recovery mode and you will see recovery mode menu on the screen.

The thing about this special mode is that you can’t use the touch screen. You must rely on physical “Volume button” to going up and down. Now, find the “Wipe Data / Factory Reset” option, keep it highlighted and press “Power button” to select it.

This is where the process will begin, right after you confirm it. Just like soft reset method, wait for it until it’s done, go back and find “Reboot System Now” option, highlighted it and press “Power button” to select it so it will reboot back to normal mode.
